Well, this episode was a bizarre one and I thought it only occurred when you’re possessed by some demon. A group of boy camped inside a wood. They shared ghost story of course. One of them heard a humming sound and went to check on it. Others, on the other hand don’t hear a thing, thought to be just a prank. Suddenly, they heard a screamed and ran to a truck. After settling down, they went out and found the male floating in the sky. Dead.
Back in the bus (kinda repetitive, don’t you think) Ward and Fritz are having a little gun problem. Ward whined about losing an ounce of the gun’s weight. He said, it’s a matter of life and death kinda thing. Fritz, Simmons and Skye made fun of him when he left. Ward notified the team that they have a case. A floating death case. The victim name was Adam Cross (Rick Gifford). He was a volunteered firefighter. The team detected an electrostatic anomaly in the area. The team bringing the body for an autopsy. The result came out negative. They don’t know what caused it and then, there was another anomaly not far from there.
The same M.O and also, the victim also came from same neighborhood. He was also a volunteered firefighter. This led to a discovery of Tony Diaz (Vincent Laresca). Simmons said that she noticed a wound at the forehead, then concluded that it is an exit wound, meaning something bursting from the outside. May found a Chitauri helmet which led to a confession by Tony. He said that he and the victims were cleaning the helmet that they just got in New York few weeks after the invasion. Suffering from the same symptoms, Coulson watch he died not until before he comforted Tony. Simmons said, that all the victims got a Chitauri’s Virus that originate from the helmet. And it is transmitted by… electrostatic shock. And now, Simmons got it due to her contact with the first victim.
Ignored the HQ’s order to drop Simmons, Coulson convinced that Simmons will find the cure. Ward on the other hand felt helpless because he can’t protect the team from something that he cannot see or understand. On the brink of despair, Fritz and Simmons finally had an idea to find a cure. A Chitauri’s cell because the alien is immune to the virus. Ignorant of the danger, Fritz rushed into the Lab where Simmons was quarantined and helped Simmons in her quest. Although, all seems well, the prototype doesn’t work at first, and the led to Simmons willingly dropped herself to ensure the safety of the team.
Fritz realized that the serum does worked and tried to save her. Ward took control and he skydiving bravely to save Simmons. At the end, Coulson scolded Simmons for being reckless and clarified that she is an important member of this team. Agent Blake, an SHIELD HQ agent surprised by the boldness that Coulson showed in this case. He stated that Coulson changed. Well then, until next time.. See ya XDXD
